Our busy term has started in such a positive way; this week we have been celebrating Science. Every class has been involved in practical activities exploring the weather. The House Day on Wednesday culminated in a brilliant display of the Water Cycle; St Andrew’s are the rain and sea; St David’s the sun; St George’s the clouds and St Patrick’s the mountains!

On Thursday we held our annual Buddy Assembly. Each Reception child was presented a teddy by their Y6 Buddy; the Y6 Buddies have played a significant part in settling the new starters by reading stories together, playing on the playground and sitting together during singing assembly.

Parents were invited to stay for coffee and homemade biscuits prepared by the Y6 pupils. A lovely welcome for our new parents. Angela Hill Headteacher
