Throughout the last two weeks, our children have been commemorating Remembrance and reflecting on the sacrifices others have made. Class 4 took part in the service at the Garden of Remembrance on Wednesday and laid a wreath from our school; Mrs. Proudfoot was very proud of the reverence the children showed throughout the ceremony. On Friday, Class 4 shared their prayers and reflections with the whole school and families in a very moving assembly. There are some beautiful examples of the children’s work in the Narthex. I hope you have time to take a look. Children have the great ability to delve really deep and find the true importance of what has happened in the past. Eternal rest, grant unto them O Lord.
