Report from Monze, Zambia

James Corboy School

As you know I have recently returned from the Diocese of Monze in Zambia where I met with their bishop, the Rt. Rev. Moses Hamungole, and completed the work I had hoped to do there. In the first place this was to see if Bishop Moses was keen on keeping links between our Lancaster Diocese and that of Monze. He was, and was also keen that they should have their input into the website, Antoomwe, which has been created to link both diocese. I met with the team of priest and professionals he had appointed for this work and spent time with them exploring the management of this new website.

Over the next weeks I will write more on my visit to the Monze Mission Hospital, which we support, and the work on setting up links between our St Catherine’s Primary School and the Bishop James Corboy School in Mazabuka.

I have booked the Haydock Centre to give a talk and show a film on this and on my time in Zambia: Tuesday July 18 at 6.30pm. Do Come!
